About the Performers Mick Napier - Mick is the founder and Artistic Director of The Annoyance Theatre and a renowned teacher of improvisation. He also serves as an Artistic Consultant at The Second City and directed their 50th Anniversary Show Taming of the Flu which premiered in the fall of 2009. Mick has also directed many shows outside of the Annoyance, including David Sedaris' Obie Award winning One Woman Shoe, more than 15 Second City revues, Martin Short & Friends, and Jeff Garlin's one-man show I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With.
TJ Jagodowski – TJ has been a member of The Second City as well as a performer and teacher at iO. He has appeared in movies such as Stranger Than Fiction, The Ice Harvest, No Sleep Till Madison, and the television show, Prison Break. You may recognize TJ from the long running series of improvised Sonic Drive-In commercials. TJ can also be seen in one of the most critically acclaimed improv shows in the country TJ & Dave every Wednesday at iO.
Noah Gregoropolous - Noah has been performing, directing and teaching improvisation for over eighteen years. As an improviser, Noah has played on numerous troupes at iO including Carl and the Passions and the Armando Diaz Experience which can be seen at iO every Monday. Noah has appeared in films, plays and on television and radio. Noah was also a staff writer on the ABC sitcom, “Dharma and Greg.”
Susan Messing – Susan has been a performer on The Second City mainstage and is an ensemble member of the Annoyance Theatre where she also plays in her critically acclaimed improv show Messing with a Friend every Thursday. Susan performed on NBC's Late Friday and Comedy Central's Premium Blend along with her puppet Jolly after showcasing at the HBO/US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Susan teaches and performs at the Annoyance Theatre and iO
Sad on Vacation - Sad On Vacation is Jon Barinholtz, Mort Burke, Wes Haney, George McAuliffe, Conner O’Malley, Andrew Peyton, Mark Vannier, Sam Weiner, and Chris Witaske. They have been performing together in different capacities for the last several years in Chicago. Some of their credits include critically acclaimed shows at the iO Theater, The Annoyance Theatre, The Second City, TBS Just For Laughs Festival, Stand-up Tour with David Cross, and many, many others.
Nordic Thunder – Nordic Thunder's origin is unknown. He has Scandinavian roots and is likely from the Scandinavian mountains that run thru the Scandinavian Peninsula. Nevertheless, Nordic Thunder is now a 3-time Chicago Regional Air Guitar Champion. This summer, Nordic Thunder will compete in the US Air Guitar Championships in New York where he will rock out and try to earn his ticket to the World Championships in Finland.
Miss Alex White - Miss Alex White is the stage name for Alex White, a musician born and raised right here in Chicago. Her projects have included Miss Alex White, the Hot Machines, and Miss Alex White and the Red Orchestra. Miss Alex White currently plays in the band White Mystery with her brother Francis. Their self-titled debut was released in March. White Mystery recently played in this year’s South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX.
