DESCRIPTION
The Center for Disability and Elder Law will be at the Center on Addison on September 5th discussing advance directives like living wills, powers of attorney, etc. Representatives will provide an introduction to these documents an take questions from the audience. They will also invite participants to sign up for the advanced directives facilitation event on September 21st. Sign up for that event is on September 5th; the outreach workshop is a prerequisite to the event. This event is for individuals who do not have advance directives in place or who may not have made updates to them after significant life events (gain or loss of property, change in health, changes in relationships, changes in residence, etc). Aged 60+ and individuals with disabilities are welcome!
