New to yoga or interested in getting back to basics? Join Susan Virginia as she teaches a six week basic yoga series. The class will introduce pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (physical postures), and basic meditation practices in a safe, supportive environment.
When: Sundays, July 13th - August 17th 5:00pm-6:15pm
This series is appropriate for beginners or anyone interested in a deliberate yoga practice at a slower pace. Each week will build upon material covered in the previous week as the class move move through standing poses for grounding, sun salutations to build heat, twists and hip openers to detoxify, backbends to open your heart, and even gentle inversions to gain new perspective.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged and the series is limited to 10 participants to ensure individual attention.
