Clinical Work with LGBTQ Clients: An Introduction
New dates coming in Fall 2023! • 10 am - 12 pm

This training is a basic introduction to language and concepts necessary to working with clients in the LGBTQ community. Participants will receive an introduction to sexual and gender identity, language and identity labels, privilege and discrimination, affirming clinical work, and a brief look at LGBTQ history. This training is a good fit for individuals who may have little to no exposure to working with LGBTQ clients or who want to brush up on current language or concepts.

This presentation will be recorded. Everyone who registers will have access to the video for one week following the presentation. Individuals will be able to obtain CEs by either attending the live presentation or watching the video.

Following the training, you will be sent an evaluation to the email address you registered with. If you paid for CEs when you registered for the training, your certificate will be sent to you after you complete this evaluation.
