A new LGBTQ Artists Gallery Opening Exhibit launches on Friday, March 13, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The opening night event is the official premiere of the work by artists Rick McEachern & Lou Samson. Opening night reception will include a cash bar.
About Rick McEachern:
This is a collection of old and new work spanning 2 decades of his life. I do not take my job as an artist lightly and I approach it with a sense of responsibility. The job is to extend and express on canvas what I see, and share it with the wold. Sometimes what I choose to paint is the simple and mundane. A place where beauty or interest is unlikely to exist. These are the most powerful works art I create and ones that add most value to our world. About Lou Samson:
Lou Samson is a self-taught mulitimedia artist currently living in Chicago. His interests and influences include plants, animals, buildings, music, history, family, decorative arts and pop culture. Lou has never focused solely on one medium and is always seeking out new ways to make visual art. His methods include painting, drawing, stencil making, screen printing, leatherwork and mosaics.
