DESCRIPTION
Senior Voice members advocate on behalf of the LGBTQ community and assist staff in conducting presentations to students and service providers on the topic of LGBTQ aging. To prepare for presentations, patrons 55+ of Center on Halsted learn from one another and special guest speakers about issues relevant to the LGBTQ community. Participants focus on political, cultural, medical and socioeconomic concerns of the LGBTQ community as it relates to their lived experiences.
