DESCRIPTION
This training is an introduction to working with the LGBTQ community in a clinical setting and will cover topics including sexual and gender identity, LGBTQ identity labels, privilege and bias, sexual and gender minority affirmative practice, and allyship. Participants with leave with a basic introduction to how to work with all clients in a way that is welcoming and affirming for LGBTQ individuals. The training is meant to be interactive and will allow time for questions and discussions about topics covered.
