You do not need to be registered as a patient in order to set up an appointment for a free rapid HIV test; this is the only PCC location that offers routine HIV testing. Testing by appointment only. The administrative office for PCC is also located at this location. The Wednesday hours for this location vary (on the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays of the month, the hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; on the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, the hours are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM).

You do not need to be registered as a patient in order to set up an appointment for a free rapid HIV test at this location; HOWEVER ONLY THE PCC'S LAKE STREET LOCATION offers ROUTINE HIV testing- by appointment only (14 Lake St., in Oak Park, IL 60302- & the phone number for the Oak Park location is: (708) 383-0113). PCC Walk-In Wellness Center at Norwegian American Hospital, 1044 N. Francisco Ave., Chicago, IL 60622
PCC Walk-In Wellness Center is not a substitute for ongoing medical care with a primary care provider. It is also not a substitute for the emergency department for true emergencies. PCC Walk-In Wellness Center at Norwegian American Hospital offers non-urgent care for illnesses and injuries that are not true emergencies. Patients can be seen without a scheduled appointment for a variety of health conditions. In addition any patient that does not have a primary care provider can follow-up with a primary care provider at one of their seven health centers. PCC Walk-In Wellness Center is located just down the hall from the emergency department in Norwegian American Hospital. They provide services for: sprains, strains, and fractures; minor cuts, burns, abrasions, and lacerations; sore throats, ear aches, and sinus infections; colds, flu, and fever; back pain, joint pain, and muscle pain; abdominal pain; suspected STD infection; bronchitis and persistent cough; headaches and migraines; skin rashes and allergies; and suspected bladder or kidney infections.

Mental Health Care - Counseling

You need to be a medical patient at PCC in order to receive behavioral health care from PCC. There may be a fee for new patient registration. PCC recognizes that individuals may have a difficult time dealing with hardship. PCC offers comprehensive integrated behavioral healthcare services. While a PCC provider may see someone for a medical condition, a behavioral health professional can meet with an individual to discuss social and emotional needs. At PCC, social workers, psychologists, and a psychiatrist are here to provide behavioral health and wellbeing services to our patients. These services are integrated into the primary care setting at PCC. The goal of PCCs behavioral health program is to work with patients to support them in reaching their desired goals. Behavioral healthcare services offered by PCC include: individual, couple, and family counseling; psychological services; psychiatric services; parenting support, and resource linkage.
